Pictured with their English teacher Mrs Gallagher are Ryan Brogan, Conor Kerlin and Tony Crossley all 8A, who represented the school in the recent Youth Speak Competition in the local council offices. This year’s topic was Back to the future! Learning from the past to reduce waste. All the speeches were excellent, but it was Ryan who won on the day, beating not only his classmates but pupils from other local schools. He will now go forward to the regional final in Magherafelt on the 29^th of April. Good luck Ryan.
