The following photos were taken at a recent genetics workshop presented by staff from W5, funded by the Welcome Trust. AS Biology students carried out the technique of electrophoresis, producing a genetic fingerprint to identify a hereditary heart problem. A level Biology students have taken part in several workshops and lectures in conjunction with W5 to broaden their learning experience.
