Young Enterprise 2009-10
3/15/2010 12:31:00 PM

The Young Enterprise Company Programme enables Year 13 pupils to gain practical experience of business and enterprise through setting up and running their own real company. Students develop their teamwork and communication skills under the guidance of local business advisors. Weekly business meetings enable pupils to prepare and refine their business strategies.

Companies attend regional Trade Fairs across Northern Ireland, where they compete with Young Enterprise Companies from other schools and organisations. The year ends with the submission of a Company Report and an Interview, which assesses communication, teamwork and innovation within the company.
Omagh CBS has a distinguished history of success in the programme both locally and nationally.
